Macau Institute of Professional Mediators |
|
Since its establishment in 2021, the Macau Institute of Professional Mediators (the “Institute”) has operated as an independent non-profit organisation
dedicated to supporting both the public and private sectors in education and advocacy for mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method. The Institute is unwavering in its commitment to collaborate with commercial enterprises of varying sizes and industries, associations, educational institutions, as well as local and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area government agencies. The Institute's primary focus lies in elevating awareness about the efficacy of mediation as the initial approach for resolving disagreements, rather than resorting to immediate litigation.
In conjunction with delivering professional mediation services, the Institute places substantial emphasis on training professionals. This is achieved through an extensive array of mediation training programs and the implementation of an independent accreditation mechanism. This concerted effort aims to cultivate a cadre of top-tier professional mediators within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, dedicated to serving the community. |
