Macau Institute of Professional Mediators

Since its inception in 2021, The Macau Institute of Professional Mediators (the “Institute”) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the public and private sectors in educating and advocating mediation as an alternative dispute resolution. The Institute is committed to working with commercial enterprises of all sizes and industries, associations, educational institutions, as well as government agencies both locally and in the Greater Bay Area. The Institute is focused at raising the awareness of mediation first to resolve disagreements instead of going straight into litigation.

In addition to professional mediation services, the Institute also places emphasis on training professionals by providing a wide range of mediation training programs and implementing an independent accreditation mechanism, with the aim of training top professional mediators in the Greater Bay Area to serve the community.
