This course is designed in line with the trend of “Mediation First” before commencing any kind of adversarial legal actions. This course aims to analyse different kinds of dispute resolutions such as arbitration and litigation, the costs incurred and breakdown to each of dispute resolutions, how to select an appropriate mean to solve a dispute which involves cross-border issues, how to select a mediator and how to enforce mediation agreements and what happens if mediation fails to solve a dispute.
All lectures are held on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00. The tentative timetable is as follows.
