In July 2025, nine mediators from the Institute of Mediators and Macau Institute of Professional Mediators - Chan Shui Hung, Dr. Alex Lau, Christine Lee, Frances Chan, Edna Chao, Louis Lou, Elton Chau, Kevin Chan and Milliano Ao - were appointed as panel mediators by the Guangzhou Financial Dispute Resolution Center and the Guangzhou Financial Dispute People's Mediation Committee (“GFDPMC”). Among those appointed, Vice-President Dr. Alex Lau was named an expert mediator.
This is the third cohort of mediators for the GFDPMC, which is also the first under the supervision of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, Guangdong Bureau. A total of 307 individuals were appointed: 41 expert mediators, 197 general mediators, and 69 workstation mediators. |
