The Macau Institute of Professional Mediators has been invited by Escola dos Moradores de Macau to provide two mediation skills training sessions for a group of 80 primary teachers. The main purpose of these sessions is to enhance the ability of educational professionals to handle disputes and conflicts that arise amongst students, parents and colleagues, thereby strengthening the teachers’ confidence in resolving conflicts.
The training sessions are led by President Dr. Gary Chio, Vice-President Frances Chan and Vice Council Chairwoman Edna Chao, together with the attendance of new members.
